Too much like a love song.

May 1, 2008

Hello there. Put a smile on your face, my darling busy bee.
The sun is gleaming like a coin
but it can’t be as happy as me.
You drive yourself too hard, my love.
Work yourself to the bone.
Who needs all these momentary gains,
when in the end, you’d be alone?
Maybe you should search for me
if only you’d ever try.
I’ll wait for you patiently,
I can never say goodbye.
I’m in your pretty, little head.
I’m at the back of your mind.
I’m hiding behind the railing’s shadows
the flowers are entwined.
I’ll be there in a heartbeat.
Just, if you’d only, wish for me.
I’ll be there in a heartbeat.
Just for you, my busy bee.

Love makes me write stoopid things that I look back on and most of the time, make me wanna scrape my skin off with a spoon.
